Production Tips

 

• Mime the story while the rest of the class sing the song. (Girl meets boy, young brother feels neglected but sister realises this and organises to spend time with him.)
• Sing the song with a telephone to your ear as if it is a telephone conversation. Hang up after, "You're OK with me" and look pleased. Make sure students look unhappy/disappointed/sad at the beginning of the song
• During the instrumental section work out a routine using telephones. Have you anyone in your class who can play a clarinet or saxophone? If so they could play the tune in this section
