Teaching Ideas

 

• After you have taught the whole song including "Bah doo bah doo" bits, split the class into two groups so that one side holds the "you" while the other part adds the "Bad doo bad doo" part
• Discuss: "What is the difference between a snack and a meal?"
• Make a list of snacks the class considers healthy
• Brainstorm events when midnight is crucial to the story, e.h. Cinderella, Ghost Stories, Spooky Stories, then write your own story where midnight is important to the plot
• Talk about the times in life you might need a midnight snack, (Sleep-overs, camping trips, stressful times)
